Who is behind LandscapingCalc?

LandscapingCalc is owned and operated by LandscapingCalc. The site grew out of everyday estimating work on real yards: figuring out how many cubic yards of mulch a border swallows, how many pallets of sod a lawn needs, how much paver base goes under a patio, and how much salt a pool takes to reach 3,200 ppm. Every formula on the site is the same arithmetic a supplier or a crew lead uses on the back of a delivery ticket, written out so you can check it yourself. There is no call centre and no ticketing queue — messages go straight to the person who maintains the calculators.

What can you email us about?

Most messages fall into one of five buckets, and each one has a fastest route to an answer:

• A calculator looks wrong. Send the calculator name, the exact numbers you entered, and the result you expected. Because each tool prints its formula and a worked example on the page, it is usually quick to see whether the difference is a bug, a rounding step, or a depth/compaction assumption (bulk gravel and topsoil settle, so we build in a small allowance).
• Pro, billing and refunds. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Email from the address on your account and we can check status, switch plans, cancel, or sort out a failed payment. You can also cancel yourself at any time from your account page.
• A calculator we don't have yet. Requests genuinely shape the roadmap — several of the gravel, decking and pool-chemistry tools started as one-line emails. Tell us the material, the units your supplier sells it in, and the coverage rate on the bag.
• Press, partnerships and content. Happy to supply data, quotes, screenshots or a short expert comment for articles about landscaping costs, material yields or estimating.
• Privacy and data requests. Access, correction, export and deletion requests are all handled by email.

How fast do you reply?

Within two business days for ordinary support, and usually far sooner. Billing problems are prioritised, since a failed payment can lock a contractor out of saved projects mid-quote. Privacy requests are answered within 30 days as required by GDPR and the CCPA, though in practice they take a day or two. If you have not heard back after three business days, resend the message — spam filters occasionally eat attachments and image-heavy emails.

How do you make a privacy request?

Send your request from the email address on your account so we can verify ownership without asking for extra personal data, and say which right you are exercising: access, correction, export, deletion, or objection to processing. Deleting your account removes your saved projects, proposals and branding assets. Can you estimate a job for me?

We can point you at the right tool, but we do not quote jobs. The calculators are built so you can do it in a minute: pick a tool from the full calculator list, enter your measurements in imperial or metric, and read off quantities and an estimated cost. Pro users can save the result to a project, apply regional material prices, and export a branded PDF quote or an AI-drafted proposal to send to a client. Pricing for that is on the pricing page.

Where else can you find us?

New estimating guides and material-yield data are published twice a week on the LandscapingCalc blog, and the newsletter sends a short summary of each one. If you spot an error in an article — a coverage rate, a price range, a code requirement that differs in your region — email us and we will correct it and credit the correction.

LandscapingCalc is operated by LandscapingCalc. Use of the site is governed by our Terms of Service. All calculator outputs are planning estimates; verify quantities, costs and code compliance with your supplier and a qualified professional before buying materials or starting work.
