Terms of Service
Effective July 10, 2026. By using LandscapingCalc you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
LandscapingCalc is operated by LandscapingCalc. Contact: hello@landscapingcalc.com.
2. What the service is
We provide free and paid landscaping calculators, an AI assistant that drafts proposals and answers landscaping questions, and editorial content. All calculators return estimates intended for planning; you are responsible for verifying quantities, costs, code compliance, and safety with a qualified professional and your local supplier before purchasing materials or beginning work.
3. Your account
You must be at least 13 (or 16 in the EEA/UK) to create an account. Keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, infringing, harmful, or deceptive use.
- No automated scraping, reverse engineering, or bulk extraction of content.
- No attempts to bypass authentication, billing, or rate limits.
- No use of the AI features to generate content that violates the law or third-party rights.
5. Paid subscriptions
Pro subscriptions are billed by Stripe on the plan you select. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel from your account. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
6. AI-generated content
AI outputs (assistant answers, proposal drafts, blog drafts) are produced automatically and may contain errors or omissions. Review AI outputs before relying on them, sharing them with clients, or basing purchasing decisions on them.
7. Intellectual property
The site, calculators, and editorial content are owned by LandscapingCalcand protected by copyright and other laws. You may use the site for your own personal or professional estimating work. Republishing our editorial content without permission is not allowed.
8. User content
You keep ownership of anything you enter into a calculator, save to your account, or send to the AI. You grant us a limited license to store and process it as needed to run the service for you.
9. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Calculator outputs are estimates only.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LandscapingCalc is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or procurement of substitute goods. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that create risk for the service or other users.
12. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page and the effective date will be updated.
13. Governing law
These terms are interpreted under the laws of the jurisdiction in which LandscapingCalc is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections of your country of residence still apply.
